Epitalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) originally derived from pineal gland extract. Research has explored Epitalon’s potential to activate telomerase — the enzyme responsible for lengthening telomeres — and regulate genes involved in cellular ageing.
